Love coming here when in town shopping. Always pop in for a drink before catching the train home. Have also stayed in the hotel overnight with my daughter. Was spotless and lovely room but unfortunately so hot in room even with fan. Yuri is excellent at his job. Always friendly and welcoming and always remembers my daughter’s favourite drink and snack which makes her day.

Booked a last minute trip to Glasgow. Was pleasantly surprised I could get a twin-bed room, in the city center, so quickly. Location was perfect, there are bus stops outside, space for taxi pick ups, plenty places to eat and all within walking distance. Bit off topic but would recommend "Merchant Chippie" on the corner of High street/Greyfriar. Really good fish and chips (best I've had outside of the black country). Great curry sauce too! Of note: front desk is manned 24hours. This was something my friend was worried about though I've not experienced a hotel where this wasn't the case. Service was excellent, staff were welcoming and polite. I really liked the bar, had a good selection and was available on demand. Though I did feel bad asking for a drink and having the chap unlock the bar and close up for me 😅 luckily theres also a nice little pub around the corner "The ark". Plenty of nice people, with a spacious/covered beer garden. Me and friend did have breakfast included with our room. The breakfast buffet was nice. Dinning room was spacious and thankfully, not super busy. Plenty food, cooked well. I can't really say anything bad. The scrambled eggs were not the best though I think this is personal preference more than anything. Room price was fair given that it was a last minute booking and the location is prime. Only critique, very minor one too, would be the colour schemes for the do not disturb/clean/refresh signs. The privacy one really should be red. Though I imagine changing them around at this point would probably lead to mixups. Very minor nitpick, doesn't affect the experience at all. Though I am glad the lad at the desk made a point to mention it. As I would have just assumed red was "do not disturb" and not given it a second thought. I'm also not sure if the AC would stand up to the heat we've been experiencing lately. Seemed a little old, which personally I liked (aesthetic wise). It didn't affect me personally on my trip so it won't affect my rating but it's worth noting. Probably still better than no AC though Im not confident in this.

Connor is amazing, all hail Connor and his friendly and professional service. Unfortunately, my room was very dated and had a smell that is likely to linger until the carpet is replaced. No A/C as well. But Connor is the best employee!

I recently stayed at the Millennium Hotel Glasgow and had a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location, but what really made my stay memorable was the exceptional service. I want to give a special thanks to Claine, who prepared and serviced my room. It was absolutely spotless, beautifully turned down, and immaculate throughout my stay. It’s rare to find that level of care and attention to detail, and Claine’s hard work did not go unnoticed. Thank you for making my visit so comfortable—I will definitely be back!

Positives: Location is great Very friendly staff Nice welcome chocolate on bed at arrival. Negatives: This hotel must have once been grand, but now looks very tired and worn. for example the button on the lift needed you to fiddle with it before it would work.. The hot water in my shower took 10 minutes to warm up. breakfast was mediocre at best. My mattrass had a big bump in it so I had to sleep diagonal quite pricey for what you get IMHO Also the construction work on the square is not ideal, but cant fault the hotel on that..
