The perfect spot for an overnight stay in Glasgow. Clean, comfortable room, surprisingly quiet despite being above a pub. A short walk from the train and bus stations. Friendly staff, excellent food and ales.
We had an excellent meal at the very comfortable and inviting pub. The room is cosy and warm and the welcome genuine! We both had excellent meals with Elizabeth having the teriyaki salmon, whilst I had the fish and chips. Both meals were excellent. A lovely evening out in a genuinely wonderful local pub. One we would definitely return. Thank you to all the staff who made our evening g so enjoyable
Delicious Haggis, lovely waiters, hilarious menu and just a really nice vibe at this very Scottish restaurant. I was there on a Saturday evening hoping for live music, but they told me the live music local dancing is on Sunday evenings. I'd definitely come back again next time I'm in Glasgow!
Always enjoy a cigar in the beer garden when the weather is playing ball. They have a couple of guest ales available as well as other draft beers. Good food and I enjoy the Cullen skink on most visits. Open fire dring the winter. Certain nights you'll find fiddles and others having a wee jam.
Just had an amazing meal if not my favorite meal at Babbity Bowster. The service was top notch, so friendly and welcoming. We ordered the Hummas and olives to start then shared the Chicken curry with a house salad, I asked about the Glasgow salad and cracked up when they said it was “Chips” - then gave me a cute “Glasgow Salad” so I didn’t miss anything! Had the best beer or at least top 3 of my life. Weihenstephan - from the oldest running brewery in the world (1040 AD) then finished our meal with sticky toffee pudding. Stop it, the best, I was so full and happy. We will definitely be back before we leave Glasgow!
