Here for a gig. Everyone told me it gets crazy hot in there but the air con was great!! It's a teeny tiny venue but I had a great first experience here! I saw the Crowe Boys and it was great to feel so close to them!! I cannot comment on food, I didn't have any. Drinks as expected!
First time at King Tuts last night to see Tyler Ballgame. Gig got better and better once sound was sorted. Tyler and the band are a must see. Great wee venue with very helpful staff. Called day before to ask about seats, explained why we needed them and the access team reserved the two best seats in the house. Security had our names on their list and escorted us to our place. Felt very looked after all the way through the process.
How has it taken me so long to get to King Tut's?? What an amazing venue with a stellar atmosphere and it is everything you want from a place offering live music - made me feel like a 20 something again. It helped I think that Tom A Smith was one of the best performers I have seen in over 30 years of going to live music. If you love live music go to King Tut's (and if you can see Tom A Smith then that's recommended too)!
Absolutely incredible venue, I was there doing photography and videography for LEAZES band as they supported the Rosadocs on the uk tour. King Tuts is one of the best venues we have been to. Such an iconic place.
The coolest venue! It’s iconic for its well known reasons, but what a great venue! Immediately as you walk in, you’re greeted with their dog wall - of Polaroids of the dogs that have been. Then on the other wall, you’ve got gig posters for all the many bands that have played. It supports upcoming bands - which is great and it’s affordable. As you walk up the stairs, it shows you names of the bands that have played through the decades - all names that you’d recognise. Bar upstairs and downstairs. The room is intimate where the gigs happen - really really great venue. Plus there’s an AC/DC Pinball Machine and merch!
