My first visit to Coast but we have driven past many times on the way to the Weymss ferry. We stopped for breakfast and I was delighted with the choices available. I had the vegetarian breakfast and my husband had the light breakfast. They were both delicious and the plates were piping hot. I loved the mini Bonne Maman jam and marmalade served with the toast. The service was friendly and quick. I will definitely be visiting again.
I felt ambivalent about Coast, it's calm, efficient and has great staff. The coffee and food are uninspired. Apart from the boaty aspect, this place may not be aimed at me. More in-depth nonsense about Coast, coffee, cafés and tangentially connected subjects at PickyManinaVan.
Wow heard really good reviews but have to say I was very dissapointed from the minute the manager welcomed us or didn't!! Quite an attitude although all her staff very nice. I got fish and it was full of greasy batter as per photo , other 2 I was with really enjoyed their meal...asked if food nice and I explained about fish on plate and just said ah ok...great service!! Not never go back Paid and left as didn't want to cause a scene
Had our 1st visit to Coast tonight, can find no fault, staff brilliant, amazing food that is worth every penny (highly recommend the fillet steak) and lovely view over the water..highly recommend and will definitely be back
The food was great, couldn't fault it (had the scallops starter and gratin main with haddock). Staff were helpful and friendly, will definitely go back to try more grub. Went mid week, was a nice chilled atmosphere.
