Walked by a few times and always wanted to visit . Last night im so glad we finally did . Outstanding . The quality of the food was excellent , we were pleasantly surprised with our bill - excellent value for the quality of food recieved . The service from Alex was terrific - great guy . Perfect atmosphere . Can’t wait to return . We’ve found a gem 😊👌
We eaten in Little Tuscany for the last meal of our trip and it didn’t disappoint! We had a lovely waitress called Molly, who was very welcoming/friendly and great to talk about the menu. We would like to thank Molly for her service throughout the night as we felt very comfortable and wasn’t overpowered by her presence as you might get in other restaurants, just the perfect amount of interaction. For the food we got Mozzarella Fritta and Tortellini Fritti for starters which were both amazing, the bolognese with the tortellini had a lovely subtle truffle flavour and not an unpleasant aftertaste and the Mozzarella was delicious and so gooey. For Main course we got Rigatoni Arrabbiata which we asked to add Tuscan Sausage and also Orecchiette Scarpariello which was definitely a more elevated and flavoured version of Pasta Pomodoro you’d order in other restaurants, so delicious!!!! Lastly we got a Tiramisu and a dessert on the specials which was Ferrero Roche Cheesecake, could not fault these dishes. Amazing all of it, we really enjoyed the whipped ice cream there was such a fresh creaminess to it. Would HIGHLY recommend visiting this restaurant, it may look small from the outside but it has so much personality and big flavours!!! 10/10 meal ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Food was nice, prices were a bit wild though, with some mains sound £16-£20. No lunch time menu and it was over £9 for affogato which blew my mind! Are they sending out to Italy for the delivery of the gelato?! Overall was nice, wouldn’t rush back, far too expensive. We were a group of 4, no starters and only 1 alcoholic drink and we were £36pp for lunch!! Hugo spritz was one of the better ones I’ve tasted, points for that I suppose.
Sat down on the hop thinking, "This place looks decent." First impressions: ✅ Friendly server ✅ Nice fresh tap water ✅ Double espresso hit the spot Then the bacon roll arrived... £4.50 for what appears to be a game of "Where's Wally?" but with bacon. I genuinely thought the pig had filed a complaint after donating just one lonely rasher. Come on, Glasgow... we're famous for proper bacon rolls! Let's get at least two slices on there. The coffee's good, the service is great—just give the bacon a teammate. ⭐⭐⭐ for effort... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ if the bacon gets promoted.
We had an amazing meal here the other day. I had the fried tortellini starter and ravioli, both absolutely delicious. The staff were really friendly - there was a bit of drama with a fire in a back alley behind the restaurant, but even though staff were dealing with that and the fire service as well as an already busy evening, they were still so attentive. The atmosphere was great, it was lovely to sit in the sun, and it was just an all-round wonderful evening, thank you so much.
