Great service, especially in the dining area. Very friendly staff, Gary was awesome and accommodating. Fitness centre and pool, with sauna and whirlpool, are fantastic. Well equipped and lots of options from virtual classes to free weights and more. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with everything you need. Wonderful stay overall. Thank you!
I stayed here for a couple of days and had breakfast in the hotels dining room. I recieved phenomenal care with my celiac requirements for the food. Katie provided me with a specially made plate and had lots of knowledge on staff precautions/ allergy awareness. During our stay, Rachel didnt hesitate to provide us with fans, extra pillows, and refresh of supplies in our room. She went out of her way to make sure we were content and pleased with our stay. Thank you, to Village hotel staff who made this an enjoyable stay!
I’ve stayed at Village Hotels several times over the years, and one of the reasons I keep returning is that you generally know what you’re going to get – comfortable rooms, good facilities, and a consistent experience. That said, it’s always the staff who make the biggest difference, and on this occasion Katie was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, she was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely interested in helping. She was chatty without being intrusive, happy to assist with any questions, and made me feel valued as a guest. It’s often the small details and genuine care shown by staff that turn an ordinary hotel stay into a memorable one, and Katie certainly did that. Her positive attitude and excellent customer service are exactly the kind of things that encourage guests to return. A real credit to the hotel – well done, Katie, and thank you for making my stay that little bit better.
Great hotel with reasonable room rates considering we booked 5 minutes before walking through the hotel door. Didn't understand the additional £5 car parking charge for hotel guests though. Regular breakfast menu and it was nice and hot. Rooms were really clean and well presented. Beds comfy and bathroom well kept. Service from all the staff was friendly and professional. Ready to help wherever they could. Would definitely stay again.
Brilliant hotel. Great value, best sleep I’ve had in a hotel in ages. Rooms are clean, beds comfy, coffee machine etc. the team were really friendly and welcoming at both the hotel and gym. Great location just over the road from the sec and a 20 min walk to some superb restaurants. Free parking at the weekend. Gym and pool were great and we enjoyed the Starbucks. Only improvement we could think of was electric car charging onsite. Great stay, thank you.
