Wow! Do NOT MISS THIS! We traveled throughout Scotland for 2 weeks and at the end of our journey we popped into this place for a bite for a late lunch/early dinner and it’s by far the BEST food we had. We had the pork belly bites as a starter and wow! Even the wee salad was amazing. The steak pie was perfect and my husband had the steak (to which he is never impressed by at restaurants) and he said it was probably the best one he has had at a restaurant- ever. Absolutely amazing food and the service was just as good. Enjoy!
We had a sunday roast there which was DELICIOUS and amazing value for money. Some days later we went for afternoon tea in the upstairs tearoom which was also really good. Both times the service was really friendly.
Very good experience in this Scottish mixed with British inspiration pub! The food was very good, service very nice and traditionnal group playing at this time very great!
This is my favourite afternoon tea place in Glasgow. Everytime we have someone visiting from outside, we love to take them here at least once for a tea. My partner and I also love coming here for a meal. The service is always amazing and the place has such a nice energy with the mismatched cups and candles. The only reason I don’t give the place 5 is as many times we’ve booked a tea and have not been able to have the teas we wanted as they were often out of stock and I didn’t find the place accessible with the amount of stairs to reach the washroom and to enter, though I’m unsure if there is an alternative entrance or back lift.
