After a long day of work (I am a hedge fund executive bank manager) nothing beats a decent pint of lager at the auctioneers served ice Cold by the friendliest staff, a nice plate “mega mixed grill” which I’ll definitely return for as it was top class cookery. I am particularly fond of the big tall man in chef whites, who always stands with a welcoming smile and wave at the bar, happy to answer all questions about the tellies with a smile!
Came in a few days ago with my son Phil who just passed his exams, thought I’d treat him to a nice meal at the auctioneers, after letting the staff know I had booked a table under McKraken, I was kindly escorted to my table and was served delightful scran by a kind lad named Flynn who went above n beyond. Food excellent staff are extremely friendly and a healthy jolly band of regulars too!!
this is simply the pub of all time. i never wanna leave here. All the pints are so perfect especially the Asahi. I love Asahi on draft. I want to drink it more often here at the Auctioneers. special thanks to eve jodie niamh kay aidan and john
Enjoyed a lunch with another 3 long standing friends. Food was good, special meal deal on, very good value. Staff were excellent and friendly. Didn't get the server's name but it was they guy. They didn't rush us. which was good. Felt very relaxed.
Absolutely fantastic experience! The pub had a brilliant atmosphere, great food and drinks, and excellent service from start to finish. A special mention has to go to Sarah, who was outstanding throughout our visit. She was friendly, welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her positive attitude and excellent customer service really made our experience memorable. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about customers having a great time, but Sarah certainly does. She is a real credit to the pub and made us feel valued from the moment we arrived. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for great service, a warm atmosphere, and a wonderful overall experience. Thank you, Sarah, for making our visit so enjoyable!
