Huge and delicious paninis, freshly made to order! The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming. Great value and a perfect spot for a quick and tasty bite or for take-away. Highly recommended!
Date of visit: 20/01/2026 Price: £10.90 Order: Vegan bean foccacia Rating: 2.5 stars (Google will only allow whole stars) Thoughts: - I was apprehensive to spend so much on a singular foccacia for lunch. Then, it was served and the portion control did the speaking. It was considerably huge. - The foccacia was light and fluffy, filled with a good ratio of fillings to balance out the thickness of the bread itself. - The fillings consisted of sun-dried tomatoes, italian salad leaves, and homemade baked beans. Having baked beans in a foccacia was a very strange dish design choice, because it made the dish very heavy per mouthful. The beans were correctly seasoned and in a fresh tomato sauce, which had a highly addictive tarty flavour. The sun-dried tomatoes were not present enough and were under seasoned. The italian leaves resulted in a soggy mess because of the volume of liquid-based fillings in the bread overall. - overall, it was an adequate bite but left more to be desired. It's gained points for the size of the portion, which is always nice to see, and served its purpose correctly as being a filling grab-and-go lunch. The conceptual dish design let it down, though, and the foccacia bread could have been seasoned more. 2.5 out of 5 is, therefore, the most fair rating I can award.
The AI overview said “people say there’s generous portion sizes”. I’m here to say that’s misinformation. Fake news. The portion sizes are diabolically gargantuan. This is beyond generous, this is “boot sale everything must go today” generous. I’m writing this review as I sit here waiting to digest half this sandwich so I can try finish the rest I got the larger mootz sandwich and I was left wondering how much a human stomach can actually expand. The hot honey is a must this was amazing, the focaccia had a great top crunch with soft inside, while the pistachio and pesto made this whole thing a great mix of flavours
Heyy i tried it today !!! Never tasted anything much better in my life .The girls were very kind and sweet . Me and my friend tried the prosciutto and prawn sandwiches .They were the best and definitely going there again to try other ones .Everything was so fresh and rich in flavour Keep up with the good work!!!
Huge sandwiches in freshly baked focaccia with classic American fillings made at breakneck pace. Banging addition to Byers Road. Though little indoor seating. Sandwiches are ~10 for regular ~12 for large, and is worth every penny. They do not skimp on the ingredients, of which there is a great variety. They are happy to accommodate any reasonable requests such as switching meats, to craft your ideal lunch. While you’re distracted by baking and slicing fresh bread, sandwiches are made in a flash and delivered with a smile. The menu is simple but full of delicious classics and there’s a wee special menu on the side (look out!). The Christmas sandwich was a unique mix of pigs in blankets, Christmas slaw, cranberry jam and other goodies. It. Was. Class. Highly recommend for lunch, it’s just banging. Thanks for a smashing time, cheers :) (Would be nice if we could sit in though!)
