Really nice place in the centre of Glasgow. Proper Bavarian experience with great food and excellent and varied German ales. Very dog friendly too and ours was presented with a couple of mini bratwurst and a bowl of water which made her very happy. The food was excellent and not bad value either. Would certainly go again when I’m ever in Glasgow.
Best pub in Glasgow in my opinion, but that's just a biased opinion if you love German beers. The layout and atmosphere in here is absolutely cracking though, making you feel like you are drinking in a real German beer hall. The food matches the quality of the beer, highly recommend the sausage platter.
This place is always a blast. Inside this vibrant and beautiful building is a massive selection of delectable (and very moreish) German beers! Getting the steins is always fun, but I would definitely recommend the paddles or firing through plenty of half pints working your way through the collection. This is the first place I went when I turned 18!! The food is good while drinking, but I must admit the quality has gone down slightly. I consistently find the chicken is dry! If they can sort this out it would be 10/10 Solid 8.5/10 though. Staff are always really friendly in here though, so certainly makes up for any flaws. Cheers for all the lovely evenings I’ve had in here :)
Great first visit….very cool vibe! Great service, especially from Chris who went out of his way to head to the cellar for pineapple Shofferhofer for my husband after the server at the bar told us there was none left! Great pretzels and chips, too! The band between 8-10pm was an added bonus! Will be back thanks to Chris! 👍🏼
Amazing! Food - Amazing Authenticity - spot on Staff - great Gluten free options - plentiful! We had a great time at the Brauhaus, my wife is coeliac and was spoilt for choice with food options. The availability of gluten free lager was great too and ensured my wife did not miss out on anything. The food was amazing and having visited the hofbrauhaus in Munich, the Bavaria Brauhaus brought back all the nostalgic memories. Will 100% be back!!!
