In 2012, my then girlfriend and I were in the UK for the first time ever as students and stumbled upon this place looking for somewhere to eat after most kitchens had shut. Despite the late hour we were received very politely. This was my first time eating anything "exotic", until then I'd only had Italian food, and even in Scotland only burgers and pizza. To this day I still remember two things about this place: the loveliness and attentiveness of the staff, who welcomed us rather late and with us displaying full ignorance of all the dishes on the menu, and the gulab jamun, which for me was an absolute awakening in my food journey. It was the first time in my life trying spices I'd never heard of until then,and everything tasted new and amazing to me. I don't know if this is the best Indian restaurant in Glasgow, I just know I'll never forget it. I had gulab jamun in London, where I live, yesterday, and I immediately thought of that dinner at KoolBa. I'm now able to cook dishes from several cuisines, and travel to try specific dishes, but I hope that someone at this restaurant reads this and knows something magical happened that night.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely outstanding! The food was authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive from start to finish. The atmosphere was beautiful, relaxing, and truly reflected Persian hospitality. Everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back!

Never waited long for order or food. Staff checked in several times and always polite. Food was fresh, hot and plenty of it. Prices are great. Popped in on way to a show and so glad we did. Staff were friendly and got us a table quickly even though no booking and restaurant being busy. The food was roasting hot and delicious! Rich colour, richer taste and sizable portions. Fresh hot food that left us happy and full all evening. Definitely returning to try rest of the menu.

I really enjoyed the food and service. Salman was great with the service
