Honestly can’t fault it. The food was exceptional and service equally great. I will definitely be back - thank you for the warm and welcoming hospitality.
I cannot recommend The Italian Kitchen enough! Everything we had was superb... absolutely delicious from start to finish! The staff there were friendly, attentive, and helpful. Przemo, our server, was knowledgeable, pleasant, and kind. My dish, the spaghetti pescatore was delicious, and a fellow diner described her chicken as "quite possibly the best meal ever!" The selection of wines is good... we enjoyed the Argentinian Malbec. If you are looking for a great place to dine out in Glasgow, don't miss The Italian Kitchen!
We were sooo sad when our favorite restaurant, Viva Ristorante on Bothwell Street, closed permanently... but The Italian Kitchen is the next best thing. (I think they're the same owners, but not sure.) The food is scrumptious, too... I ordered an Aperol spritz with my fettuccine al salmone and insalata mista. Beautiful lighting and warm, romantic atmosphere. The only thing that could improve the experience would be if they played Italian lessons in the toilets, like they did at Viva!
Went there on our Christmas night out. We had to preorder our food in advance. It was a busy Saturday night, and the waiters were just running around with the drinks spilling them over - that wasn’t nice. And we had to wait quite a while for them to bring our desserts. The food was good in general.
This busy restaurant is located near the Merchant City area in Ingham Street. The seafood ravioli spaghetti carbonara were excellent as was the service, staff, decor, vibe, the works. Highly recommended this restaurant. 👍👍👍
