Reviews
We stopped here for dinner on our last evening in Glasgow. The place was already full when we arrived and we ended up having dinner at the bar, not an actual issue. The food was good, but not the best we had during our trip in Scotland. We had the haggis, neeps & tatties, the cullen skink and also the brownie for dessert. The cullen skink was nice, although really tiny and it could have used some more fish pieces. The haggis was good, but we had better haggis at other places. Delicious chocolate brownie. Service was friendly, prices seemed a bit high given the small-ish portion sizes (not for the haggis, this was enough).
In Glasgow for just 1 night and wanted some good local food. Wasn't disappointed here. Everything was excellent. I got the haggis, neeps and tatties based on a Google review and it was excellent. Our server was lovely and helpful. Highly recommend
Lovely meal with friends in this long established city centre bar. Love the vibe & traditional decor especially the fire. Meal really lovely and friend says best bar fish & chip meal in the whole of Glasgow . Service excellent. We will definitely be back more often 😃👌🏻
