I found this place very convenient for my visit to Glasgow. A good bus & subway service to the City centre. The room was clean and tidy. The bathroom looked as if it had recently been replaced (labels on the ceramics not removed) and was also spotlessly clean. As per previous posts I could hear doors being opened etc, but no more than any other hotels that I've been in. Communication was all via email and was great. I will certainly make further bookings when I have to stay over in Glasgow.
I really can’t understand why it has such low reviews. Obviously, I’m speaking in terms of value for money, since the property is very inexpensive for Glasgow. The room was spacious and, although a bit dated, it was quite clean. The subway stop is about a 10-minute walk away, and the bus stop is around 5 minutes away. Of course, since it’s an older property, there is a noticeable smell of old carpet, but overall it was a good experience.
Excellent highly recommend. Previous known as Ibrox guesthouse and the sign on the front says midlock house. Clean, tidy, comfortable. The hosts communicated brilliantly they were able to meet our requirements. The room itself is comfortable high quality and very and toilet bathroom very clean. We felt very safe and happy here would definitely come again. Tips: bring your own towel, eye mask, and download an app for white noise/ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Also the room has a kettle, so bring cutlery and you can get porridge pots/noodle/soup stuff that only need boiling water to have food.
