Had a lovely meal at Kinara in Glasgow. The restaurant has a warm, relaxed feel, and the staff were genuinely friendly throughout our visit. Loved how unrushed the whole experience felt — we were able to enjoy our meal at our own pace, which made the evening even nicer. The food was really consistent across the board. Started with veg pakora and chicken pakora, both fresh, crisp and nicely spiced. The Chicken Makhni was rich with good heat, while the Mangalore Goat Kari had great depth and really tender meat. I personally can’t go past a Garlic Chilli Chicken and Kinara’s version brought except flavour and a good bit of heat without being over the top. We paired everything with pilau rice, basmati rice, and some excellent naans — the Alphonso Peshwari was a game-changer! Loved the addition of the mango. Prices are a little on the higher side, but the quality of the food and the relaxed, friendly service make Kinara a great choice for a special occasion or a slower, more enjoyable night out.
Never knew that this restaurant had such delicious flavors. It’s very rare to find good indian flavors the right way… was meeting a friend and we loved our time here. Staff w lovely too. We were before time and they sat us and were very generous to let us wait until they opened. Enjoyed every bit of it.
Wow! What a great dinner. We went as a group of four. The food was fantastic. The highlight was the lobster, follow by the Rogan Josh Lamb. The Naan was a hit, very special. We liked the butter chicken and the two dahls, although I would have liked a bit more salt and heat. Service was excellent, it was easy to order and drinks came out immediately. The wine list is comprehensive and reasonable; we enjoyed a couple of bottles of Aussie Shiraz. We could not eat dessert!
Kinara was such a beautiful restaurant. The food was excellent, and the staff were very knowledgeable. The service was amazing as they were attentive throughout and made us feel really special for my friend’s birthday. The music was great, the atmosphere was lovely, and the décor was stunning. A huge thank you to Fuad and Zain for the wonderful service. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend this place.
Had such a lovely lunch at Kinara in Glasgow! We went on a weekday and were instantly taken in by the beautiful ambiance—lush greenery and floral touches that made the space feel calm and elegant. We ordered two lunch sets along with a few extras, and every single dish was outstanding. The hara bhara tikki was perfectly crisp, the Zaffrani nisha was rich and flavorful, and both the chicken biryani and chicken khusk purdah were absolutely delicious. A special mention to the rose lassi—perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and refreshingly free of artificial colors. Truly one of the best Indian dining experiences we’ve had in Glasgow—highly recommend!
