We booked here while staying a few days in Largs. What a fabulous place, with incredible seafood cooked to perfection. We had starters of Caramelised King Scallops with Sobrasada and Black Pudding, and a portion of 7 Langoustines. They were absolutely stunning. Mains were Sole Meuniere, and Lobster Ravioli with Langoustines in a shellfish bisque, along with a side of tenderstem broccoli. Also cooked perfectly. Drinks were lovely and very reasonably priced. If this restaurant was in my hometown I'd eat there every week. Fish cookery is so easy to mess up, but not here. Can't fault them.
Wonderful food and service. £6 starters and £10 mains. Salt and chilli Chicken for starter. Chicken poke bowl, lobster ravioli, and fish and chips. All great. With lovely service and water pouring. A great place for good quality food
What a brilliant experience. Great service, fantaatic food and prices that should suit evsryone's wallets. Cannot praise the place enough on a busy sunny Saturday night. Thanks to all staff involved. We will definitely be back.
Combine a fine dining seafood restaurant with a relaxing seaside bar and you get Skip's. The fish here was absolutely delicious and amazingly fresh. If you're visiting Largs for a coastal getaway then this should be on your list of eateries. While its on the pricier side of dining, I believe it's worth every penny and they definitely dont skimp out on portions.
