⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a fantastic find in the heart of Glasgow! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, authentic, and full of flavour. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection, and the portions were very generous. What really made the experience unforgettable was the hospitality. The owner was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cared about his guests. He even surprised us with complimentary drinks, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made the evening even more special. If you're looking for authentic Turkish food, a warm atmosphere, and outstanding service, Türkiye EFES is definitely the place to visit. Highly recommended, and I'll certainly be coming back!
Went for a last minute lunch with no booking. Both vegetarians so got a range of stuff - cheese pide, salad, halloumi, falafel, hummus and potato borek. Staff were so so kind and gave us a complimentary cloud bread and the most delicious garlic butter. Staff were lovely and quick serving drinks etc. Every bite we ate was gorgeous and the restaurant is beautifully decorated, nice and chill on a warm day. We will be back for sure. Finally made it to Efes in Glasgow and I’m already planning my return! I tried baba ganoosh for the first time and absolutely loved it – such a great start. We were given complimentary balloon bread with the most incredible garlic butter, which was so good we ended up ordering another (definitely a bit greedy, but worth it!). We shared the platter for two and wow… it was phenomenal. The selection of meats was delicious, but the real star of the show was the rice underneath. It had soaked up all the flavour from the meat and I genuinely can’t remember the last time I enjoyed rice that much – there was loads of it too and I just couldn’t stop eating it! My boyfriend had the special prawns to start and they were also lovely. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Can’t wait to come back again soon!
Been in for a pint before thought id try the food... so glad I did.. fresh and extremely enjoyable.. mixed platter to share was just enough and a dancer was a nice surprise too.. Will definitely be back for more food.
The customer service was excellent, staff were attentive and welcoming, which made us feel well looked after. Portion sizes were also generous and good value for money. However, the food itself did not fully meet expectations. The Türkiye Special King Prawn starter was served cold, whereas I was expecting it to be a hot dish. I chose not to raise this at the time. The main course, the Türkiye 1 platter for two, was also somewhat bland and lacked flavour that you normally associate with Turkish cuisine.
