Description

Your adventure begins in Glasgow as we head to Doune Castle, the famous Castle Leoch from Outlander. This 14th-century fortress, home to Clan MacKenzie, will transport you straight into the heart of the Highlands. As you wander the ancient halls, imagine yourself alongside Claire and Jamie in this iconic setting. Next, we venture to the charming village of Culross, which became the fictional town of Cranesmuir in the show. Stroll through its cobbled streets, breathing in the atmosphere of the 18th century. Don’t forget to visit Claire’s herb garden, it’s even more enchanting in person, with the plants whispering secrets of the past. From there, we make our way to Falkland, the town that doubled as 1940s Inverness. Take in the quaint surroundings, grab some lunch, and stand where Jamie’s ghost first appeared in the series. Bruce Fountain will be just the spot to spark your imagination. Our next stop is Midhope Castle, home to Lallybroch, Jamie’s beloved family estate. While the interior remains in ruins, the beautiful grounds are yours to explore. Take a moment to soak in the history and snap some photos - you might even feel like you’ve stepped right into the show. Lastly, we visit Blackness Castle, which stood in for Fort William, the backdrop to many of the show’s most intense moments. Take in the stunning views over the Firth of Forth, knowing you’ve walked the same path as Claire and Jamie in this unforgettable journey. After a day filled with history, romance, and Outlander magic, we return to Glasgow just in time for dinner, your mind still racing with the stories of the show.
