Description
Mary Queen of Scots experienced a life filled with betrayal, murder, and treachery. Deceived repeatedly by immoral Scottish Nobles, she witnessed the brutal murder of her friend David Rizzio. Later, she sought refuge with her cousin Elizabeth I, who ultimately ordered Mary’s execution by beheading.
The violent events surrounding Mary’s life are said to have created a vengeful spirit. Sandyford Castle, the site linked to these events, was closed after numerous unexplained deaths and has remained abandoned for centuries.
Participants become a group of spiritual mediums attempting to uncover Mary’s secrets and lay her ghost to rest. The challenge is to succeed without becoming victims of the castle’s curse.
The Experience
The escape room is located at eeek! Escape Rooms, Top Floor Premises, 24 Sandyford Place, Glasgow, G3 7NG. Please arrive promptly at your booked time.
On arrival, you will be welcomed and briefed for your 75-minute experience, which includes a 10-minute introduction, 60 minutes to solve the puzzles and escape, and 5 minutes for a team photo and debrief.
The room features specially designed sets and props crafted locally in Glasgow to enhance immersion.
