Description
Depart Glasgow and head north along the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond with a refreshment stop in the village of Tarbet, where the Highlands meet the Lowlands.
Cross the remote Rannoch Moor, one of Europe’s last wilderness areas. Pause for photographs in Glencoe, known for its dramatic landscape and historical significance.
Pass through Fort William with views of Ben Nevis, then follow the Great Glen Canal to Fort Augustus at the southern end of Loch Ness. Here, enjoy lunch and explore the town. There is an option to take a 1-hour Loch Ness monster-spotting cruise (ticket purchased separately).
