Description
Escape the city buzz of Glasgow on this small-group tour and embark on a journey north into Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park - a land of lochs, legends, and scenery that’ll make your jaw drop. Our first stop is Glen Coe, where dramatic peaks rise like ancient sentinels over the glens, each with its own haunting tale. This place is not just a vista; it’s a slice of Scottish history that will have you captivated.
From there, we head further into the Highlands, catching stunning views of the Commando Monument and the majestic Nevis Range, with Ben Nevis, the UK’s tallest mountain, looming in the distance. This is truly a landscape that feels as grand as the myths that run through it.
Then, we arrive at the picturesque village of Fort Augustus, nestled on the shores of Loch Ness. It’s here the legend of Nessie comes to life: will you catch a glimpse of the elusive creature that’s captured hearts for centuries? Step aboard a boat and scour the loch for signs of the famous monster. Who knows? You might just spot a ripple on the water or a shadow darting beneath the surface. Or, if you prefer, unwind by the Caledonian Canal and take in the beauty of the loch, where the waters are as mysterious as the stories they hold.
As we make our way home, we’ll drive through the rugged wonder of Cairngorms National Park. Its wild beauty, endless forests, and sweeping vistas making for the perfect finale to your Highland adventure. We’ll wrap up this unforgettable day, returning to Glasgow in the evening, your mind still buzzing from the ancient legends, the mountain air, and the thrill of the search for Nessie.
