Description
The Falls of Clyde features a series of waterfalls along a scenic gorge, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Scotland. This guided walk leads you through beautiful woodland paths where birdcalls fill the air. Common sightings include dippers, ravens, kingfishers, and occasionally badgers or otters.
The route follows the river gorge and includes a lesser-known trail on the opposite riverbank, providing enhanced views of the falls. Some sections require local knowledge to navigate efficiently, which your guide provides.
Along the trail, there are plenty of viewpoints to pause for photos or rest. The hike lasts approximately three hours and offers a good amount of physical activity. Breaks are included for those who need them, and participants may pause or stop along the way as needed.
