Continue west to Loch Lomond, Britain’s largest freshwater lake, where you have free time to explore or join an optional boat cruise (payable on the day).

Drive through the Trossachs National Park, known for its dramatic landscapes that inspired writers and artists for centuries. Visit Aberfoyle, a picturesque village regarded as 'Highlands in Miniature' and a filming location for movies like Rob Roy and The Lady of the Lake.

Pass through Callander and Doune Castle, featured in Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Then arrive in historic Stirling, perched on volcanic rock. You have an hour of free time to visit Stirling Castle or enjoy refreshments at the Unicorn Café.

On the return journey, enjoy views of the Forth Valley, site of Wallace’s 1297 victory and home to the Wallace Monument.
