Nice little hotel within walking distance of lots of shops, and there’s a Waterstones around the corner. Only thing I wasn’t a fan of is that the beds roll around if you’re not careful. There’s a cozy dining/seating area near the lobby.

Not a 4 star hotel, but what a hidden gem. Free Machine coffee all day, good air con, safe, fridge, excellent breakfast, quiet, hot water, comfy beds. Lovely, helpful staff.

Great hotel with good service. We were lucky and got an upgrade to a suite room. These rooms are over 2 floors with a mini bar and amazing views overs the city. The hotel is very central and only a short walk to the theaters, restaurants, bars and shops. Only downside are the room TV's no netflix and unable to stream from your phone. Very minor though. Highly recommend

This was the third time across a couple of years that we've stayed at this hotel and unfortunately this time it just didn't live up to standards at all. We arrived to check in at around 8pm, and the staff on the front desks weren't rude by any means but we felt like they rushed us through check in as if it was inconvenient for them. The first night we noticed we only had feather pillows on the bed, we didn't sleep particularly well on them and the room was veryyyy cold (we quickly learned our room's AC unit was broken as well). My partner asked at reception for foam pillows the next day and the staff member said they would be up shortly after their other colleague had returned to man the desk. We never heard any more of it, so later in the day my partner asked again and the same staff member said they hadn't any foam pillows left, and that they had called up to our room. We were up there 5 hours, no knock or call from reception. I don't want to call this staff member a liar, as maybe they misheard our room number or something alike but it was just a surprise compared to our previous stays where they couldn't do enough for us. Everything else was just OK, nothing to write home about though. The standard of the room didn't reflect the £250 for 2 nights that we paid, and unfortunately we won't be staying here again. It has been a fantastic hotel in the past but it seems not so anymore.

Bed was very firm. It was a bit tight for a family of 4 in the family room. Clean and updated and nice decor. There was a fire drill while we were there. It would have been nice to be informed in advance.
