My room here was actually pretty good, just a bit on the smaller side. The service was alright, nothing extraordinary. Breakfast was okay, standard continental stuff every day. The location, however, was amazing. It made exploring super easy. My stay was acceptable.
Stayed at Motel One Glasgow and had a pleasant experience overall. The room was on the smaller side, but it was clean, modern, and perfectly fine for a short stay. The bed was comfortable and everything worked as it should. Breakfast was decent but fairly limited in choice, enough to get you going for the day, though nothing particularly special. The staff were friendly and the location is handy for getting around the city. Would happily stay again.
Excellent location in the heart of Glasgow with parking nearby. The hotel is very clean and fresh with nice decor throughout. Our room was a little on the small side and limited storage. Bathroom was lovely as was the shower. Staff seemed pleasant and friendly. Check in was simple enough although we did notice that they didn't inform us about breakfast or bar hours. It was a little noisy in our room as we had the window open but that's to be expected for a central location.
Love this place. We’ve stayed here twice on our trips to Glasgow. The location is amazing, literally adjoining the train station. Check in can be crowded, but the staff does a great job getting everyone in. You can always grab a drink at the bar. Prices are very reasonable for the rooms, which are super clean and comfortable. Note that the rooms can be small, but efficiently laid out. We had enough room to function, but it was cozy. Missed breakfast, as I didn’t even know it was a thing, but I’ve heard it’s good. The WiFi’s great, as we streamed some shows without issue. For the price, this place is a steal!
Another very pleasant stay (June 2026) at the Motel One Glasgow (Oswald Street). Can't fault the staff, super friendly and helpful. Lovely, modern rooms with very comfortable beds, lush bedding, curtains and towels. The foyer and bar areas are furnished very smartly and stylish. Comfortable and inviting to sit, have a drink and relax. It pays to sign up as a member (free), as the rates are always lower than any other booking platforms (including other agents 'discounted rates!). Plus one free bottle of water too. Whenever I travel to other cities, including abroad (mostly Europe), I'll always consider Motel One. Highly recommend this brand of Hotels. Great concept that works very well. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
