I stayed here in November 2025. Although it's a little away from the city centre, it was definitely worth it. After long and tiring days at the conference, coming back to the hotel in the evening and getting ready here every morning made it feel like home. It also reminded me of the student house I lived in while studying in Cardiff, which made my stay even more special. I had only spent a short time in Glasgow during my trip to Scotland in 2013, so I didn't really get to know the city back then. This time, I really fell in love with Glasgow, and I think staying here was one of the reasons why.
We just got married at Number 10 and it was perfect in every way! Heather was so accommodating, professional and easy to work with, making sure our day ran smoothly. We also want to thank the servers and bar staff as they were so friendly and welcoming to us and all our guests. The garden suite is beautiful for a summer ceremony, and there is plenty of room for guests to wander and mingle. I would highly recommend number 10 to anyone looking for an intimate but luxurious wedding venue in Glasgow - all our guests couldn’t stop complimenting how gorgeous it was!
Didn’t get much change from £400 for one night so was expecting something special. Unfortunately this wasn’t the case. We were put in a small attic room with a tiny shower room and the smallest tv we’ve seen in years. The room was clean enough but in need of a bit of attention - paint touch ups, wardrobe door that didn’t shut. Kettle in room but no water unless you tried to fill up in small sink in bathroom. A bottle of water would’ve been preferable. Noisy corridor and fire exit doors at top of the stairs. Could hear it swinging loudly whenever someone used it. Cleaner was knocking on doors at 0830 so we had to get up even though checkout wasn’t until 1100. Had thought breakfast was included in the price but told that would be extra. All in all was left feeling as if the stay was not good value for money. Have stayed in a lot posher places for less than this hotel charged.
This is a well appointed hotel on Queens Drive Glasgow close to South sides beautiful Queens park. Unfortunately my latest visit was for an after funeral gathering where the usual sausage rolls, sandwiches scones etc were served with tea and coffee. These occasions are never more than serviceable . I have been before for happier reasons like Whisky tasting evenings which can be fun as long as they dont become over indulgent The hotel decor is very nice and food menu has all the expected classics. One low point for myself was that hotel management could not organise a taxi home for me. which i needed cos i am partially disabled due to Arthritis.🥺 The hotel is very popular for various functions.
