Your Route – A Journey Through Edinburgh’s History The tour begins with a scenic ride through the grounds of Craigmillar Park, followed by a thrilling journey through the Innocent Railway Tunnel. From there, we cycle through The Meadows, Edinburgh’s expansive green space, and onto the Union Canal. Next, we follow the tranquil Water of Leith to Dean Village and Stockbridge, two of Edinburgh’s most picturesque and historic areas. We then head towards the Port of Leith before continuing to Portobello Beach, Edinburgh’s very own city beach, where we’ll stop for refreshments and take in the view. This 20-mile round-trip offers plenty of opportunities for photo stops and points of interest along the way, including fascinating historical landmarks and beautiful landscapes.
