Tucked away at basement level from the main street, wasn't quite sure what to expect when a "walk-in" after seeing an online menu. Greeted warmly - service throughout was friendly and efficient, with a well-staffed team very much looking after customers and the cleanliness of the place as a whole. Drinks selection was decent, with good recommendations from staff, whilst the food was good value both in terms of taste and portion sizes - wasn't quite sure how the kitchen would shape up at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon in a place announcing it was open until 2am for food, but certainly no problems there. Hopefully will get the chance to visit again soon.
This is a nice bar that offers a nice selection of Gluten free mexican food. The gluten free option is the standard option for several of the meals which is nice! We ordered the beef stew and the enchiladas. The portions were good and the service was very timely. They also have a nice selection of unique cocktails. If you're in glasgow and want somewhere new to try give howlin wolf a go! We went between 1 and 2. So it was a very quiet time, I imagine it is somewhere that tends to be much busier in the evening rather than a lunchtime rush so depending on what atmosphere you like, consider your timing.
My favourite bar in Glasgow. From pints to cocktails, even food is delicious. Highly recommend the handmade tortilla tacos here. As a Mexican they are approved. Live music is always a plus.
This is your party spot in Glasgow. I was there on a Saturday Night and it was rocking. Lots of good music. The joint gets full, so grab a place to sit and enjoy the night with your friends. The bar is very stylish, but it has a lot of variety and the staff is hard working and friendly. They are efficient and professional. Know what you want to order, because on a busy night, they are trying to manage a giant room full of thirsty people. The kitchen stays open LATE compared to the rest of the town. When you need food, you need food, and they provide well. The wait staff and the kitchen cooks are unsung heroes who keep a lot of people fed in a fun, but loud and hectic environment. I would go back for the food, drink and people watching. 😎
