Really good food and service in part of the former Lansdowne Church. Impressive modern stained glass by the team that did the restoration of the magnificent windows in the main church. The menu concentrates on Scottish dishes, and their cocktails are excellent. The burger was huge and chicken supreme was also a generous portion. Only complaint is that both of our meals were too salty.

First time visit and will definitely return. Service was excellent both friendly and efficient. The venue is lovely with stain glass, fairy lights and a roaring fire. We ate dinner which was delicious with generous portions. Later in the evening traditional musicians played and added to the lovely atmosphere. You can access the stand comedy club from inside also.

Highly recommend for groups of friends or couples for delicious meals in Scottish style! We had starters of haggis Bon Bons and Cider Pork belly and then Roast Chicken and Beef burger. Enjoyed every bit of it , food is top restaurant quality for an affordable price. There is a real fireplace which gives this place a special ambience. Staff was very nice and friendly as well. Would recommend to book a table on their website as could get quite busy.

Came in for brunch. We had the full breakfast which was excellent. Really lovely atmosphere inside. Unfortunately had to wait a very long time for our coffees (2 flat whites), i think maybe they had forgotten about them. Then one coffee arrived Which wasn't a flat white. I sent that one back and when we finally got our two flat whites they had a horrible chemically/soapy taste to them. I didn't want to mention it at the time to staff as I'd already had to send one back. Would definitely come back here, lovely place, dog friendly. But unfortunately terrible coffee and long wait for coffee- maybe new staff or additional training required with coffee machine

A friend recommended this place, we were in cosy bar area, loved the real fire, would go back just for that!! Ok menu, varied but not a huge menu. Decent prices. By far the All day breakfast was the best value. Steak pie was disappointing, expected more meat, but maybe that is reflected in the price, skimpy on the chips. Fish was good and the Tartare sauce was very very tasty!! Toilets are right up the spire. Background music at a good level, it was clean with a welcoming feel.
