It's such an amazing place. Every day at 7pm there is some live music, that really gives this place the amazing pub vibe. Trying whiskys here is great, you can order 3 in a pack and it has description and all. The food is amazing and its quite affordable
The Piper was recommended by our bus driver who said she had not heard anything but good about this place. Wow, was she right. Seated quickly by, I’m assuming, the manager who was gracious and got a couple of tables put together by the front even though they seemed busy. Traveling with my wife, 18 year old daughter and 14 year old son he inquired about drinks. My wife and I ordered a couple of pints and he looked at us with a grin and motioned to my son, “milk?” with a sheepish grin. We ordered and I have to say, the service was amazing, but the food.. I have no words. I fully intended on getting a shot of my Scotch Steak and Ale Pie to post, but it smelled so good I ate it all up without a second thought. Hands down this is the best pie I have ever had, in any country I’ve visited.
Very friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. Live music every day. They have a great menu with Scottish classics and also a very nice variety of beers and whisky’s. Highly recommend visiting The Piper Bar when in Glasgow. We will for sure come back!
This ia a great pub, but it does get busy. If you are not there for a scheduled whisky tasting, you can choose from 3 flights that they deliver to your table with a quick explanation. Much appreciated that they do this whilst quite busy. The beef lasagna and Scottish ale pie were truly delicious.
Excellent service. Super foods. Authentic ambiance. We dropped by for a drink and a snack. They have a nice selection of food and drinks. I tried the “Malt of the month”. Real nice. And well-priced. We chose three “tapas” and they tasted wonderful. Definitely a place to visit when in Glasgow.
