Edit 19/7/26. Returned again. This time I had a pizza and the Cajun fries. They were lovely but if I had one criticism it’s that you use pickled jalapeños. You have to use fresh especially on pizzas. Would have also been better with fresh chilli on the Cajun fries too. Still enjoyed my food though. My mum had the steak pie which she said was lovely. Fantastic restaurant. The food was amazing. I went quite boring with the start of Mozzarella fritta (but I love it and the sauce it came with was lovely). My wife had the bang bang prawns which I tried and wow! Amazing! I had tagliatelle chicken, mushrooms and garlic with white wine. Beautiful. Cooked to perfection. All the staff were amazing aswell. Very friendly. My only slight issue was that it took what seemed like a while to get drinks when we first sat down. But apart from that everything else went great. Restaurant was very busy on the Saturday night which is only a good sign. Thank you.

Found this one on a "best Full Scottish breakfasts in town"-list. Expectations were high. The offered variety was good, but the quality was mediocre, unfortunately. Wouldn't recommend the "Coia Breakfast".

I tried to make a reservation at this place and they never got back to me but thankfully they accepted a walk in. We ordered some coffees and teas along with some bacon, French toast, smoked haddock and poached eggs. I found the food to be pretty average and the toast to be pretty dry. The drinks were made very well and the fish was good as well. Maybe it’s just not a very breakfast place. The staff were very sweet but our server kept trying to clear our plates while we were still eating and would come and ask us if we needed anything more (this happened atleast 3-4 times) while we were either still eating or drinking which made it a little awkward as it felt like they were in a rush. I do wish if that was the case or if the table was only available for so long they told us in advance but we ended up rushing to finish the food because after the 4th time the server asked us we found to pretty awkward.

We came from Fife to spend a few nights in Glasgow and try Coia's as we'd seen so many reviews about the amazing food. We couldn't believe how busy it was on a Monday night but now we know why! The food was delicious!! We both had a starter and a main and even though I was stuffed, I couldn't resist the banoffee cheesecake. The service from all the staff was brilliant. Day two - we're going back for breakfast!! Thank you Coia's for making the trip worthwhile 😊
