I ordered the Beef Ragu ArancinO (wrong advertisment as you only get one rice ball hence Arancino, not Arancini) as a starter and the Carbonara as a main, and some tap water. The Arancino came at the same time as the pasta, no water. In Hindsight this was good that starter and main came at the same time as the Arancino allowed me to eat half the pasta bowl. The Arancino was really nice, but the Carbonara was close to inedible as it was way to salty. So glad when the water finally came after I was ask whether I need anything. The Arancino was served in a high walled bowl. How you are suppose to manage a big rice bowl in a narrow bowl? I had to visit Tesco Express afterwards for "Dessert" and especially to get the salty taste out of my mouth, it was lingering for ages. I needed the facilities before the food, so I went down. Was like Wetherspoons: lot of stairs and corners to navigate to get there. It was clean, but not checked often otherwise the staff would have realised that there was no roll left (actually only the roll was left). Luckily I had some tissue with me.

Food choice was great, catered to all tastes. There are vegan & Vegie options. One of the Beat Arancini I have tasted (would recommend the Pesto & Mozzarella). Pasta was cooked perfectly and the Cannolis were superb! Portion size was really good and the service was excellent! Recommend and will return!

The food was absolutely delicious, bringing out the true taste of Italian street food. There was no waiting time, and since the place wasn’t overcrowded, we could relax and spend quality time enjoying our meal. A unique highlight was the way the food was served—in a special bowl-style plate that helps retain heat. Even if the top layer cools while eating, the food underneath stays warm, which made the experience even better. Overall, a lovely spot to enjoy flavorful food in a calm and comfortable setting!

Googled Halal pasta, and came across this place. Went for lunch, and were greeted by a Nepalese member of staff. He advised of the Halal dishes, so ordered the Beef Ragu and Carbonara with chicken. Food was delicious but...not piping hot. Other than that it's was great. Yes, I would recommend & will be returning.

🍝🇮🇹DINNER AT @pasticcioglasgow – IS IT WORTH IT?!🇮🇹🍝 📍 380 Byres Rd, Glasgow G12 8AR Halal options available with strict cross-contamination guidelines followed! 🥳 (They even cook their beef ragu without alcohol and use separate utensils and cookware for halal dishes – love the effort and care!) 💯 So, what did I get? •Linguine Arrabiata with Grilled Chicken and Mushrooms (£12.85) •Fusilli Genovese with Grilled Chicken and Mushrooms (£13.85) •Carrot Cake & brownie for dessert 🍰🍫 Let’s start with the good: -The service was amazing! Staff were so friendly and the food came out super quick 👏 -Portion sizes were generous and everything looked freshly made; the Arrabiata was definitely my favourite - it had the perfect kick without being overpowering 🙂‍↕️ -The desserts were lovely too, especially the brownie! The not-so-good? -Well, the restaurant was a bit cold so that took away a little from the cosy Italian vibe ❄️ Final verdict? Honestly, the fact that they go above and beyond to accommodate Muslim customers makes @pasticcioglasgow worth a wee visit, if you’re after authentic Italian food with full halal reassurance, this is the spot for you! 🤌🇮🇹 So when you go to Pasticcio, be sure to mention That Halal Gal sent you – byeeee! 😘
