The unique and nostalgic setting was unfortunately not enough to save the food. My friends and I found the flavours off balance and the service slow and inattentive. The price felt quite high for the standard and quality offered.
Food was hot and fresh. Good flavour. The Cullen skink was exceptional with very fresh baguette. Service was excellent with friendly and helpful staff. Noise level somewhat high.
We had Haggis, neeps and tatties and Cullen Skink, two of the Gandolfi Scottish staples. They were lovely portions and the waiters were very lovely and accommodating. Loved the atmosphere although a little bit loud when we visited on a Friday evening. I'd recommend booking as it's sought after. Food was delicious. Will have to come back.
A charming spot with warm service and great food. We tried the full Scottish and the full veggie. The potato scones and black pudding were particular favorites, along with excellently scrambled eggs. Loved the mix of tourists and locals.
It was my first time visiting Glasgow, my brother who’s visited before recommended to eat here from previous experience. The atmosphere was great, the service was class and the food was sublime. I’d fly back here every week just to eat the haggis if I could. Good choices of whisky also! Thanks again
