Caledonia Bar - Glasgow Airport
Glasgow

Sarah was our server today and tended to all our needs. The service was amazing and the food even better! Highly recommend!
I was happy to find a spot to eat inside this airport that had veg options. I had a lentil salad. They didn't have any vegan protein options to add on - only vegan feta. They gave me 4 small cubes and charged 2£ which did not seem like a very good deal. The lettuce was quite aged - it had pink/brown spots on it. Overall, it was a good meal but I wish it were freahed and there were vegan options for protein add-ons.
This was amazing! I had the French toast with yogurt and berries, BEST FRENCH TOAST IVE EVER HAD!! Seriously it was amazing, fruit was fresh and very sweet. Brioche bread was light and fluffy with a bit of sweetness and perfectly crisp. Not soggy like some French toast can be. The yogurt was good, I was expecting it to be a bit sweeter but with the sweetness of the fruit it was the perfect balance. Any sweeter and it would be too much. Service was great and food came out quick, perfect for catching a flight. Parmida was my waitress, she was so sweet and we had a lovely conversation. Definitely come here for a good meal to fill you up before your flight and enjoy the atmosphere (a great view and comfortable seating). This place was great, honestly cant believe it’s in an airport!
First impression was terrible, but kind of funny. The very disengaged and grumpy young woman greeted us like this "Was security busy?" We said no. She replied under her breath "Thank God..." Then we asked for a seat at the window and she obliged. It wasn't set and the table was really dirty but she didn't seem to think of that. We asked the young man working to clean it and he was happy and polite to do it. The two servers we had were very good and friendly and the menu options was very good, also good vegetarian options. The food had great potential. It was very good but a few signs of someone not really caring. My avocado toast was totally wet and soggy albeit it tasted good (see picture). All in all I wouldn't go back but then again what do you expect from an airport and a trip to Glasgow is always worth it.
We stopped into Glasgow Caledonia Bar for breakfast while waiting for our flight to Paris and it was the perfect way to start our trip. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, exactly what you want before heading to the airport, and service was quick without feeling rushed. I ordered the salmon and scrambled eggs, which were cooked really well and tasted fresh, and my partner went for the cooked breakfast, which arrived hot and exactly as expected. Everything came out promptly and was clearly prepared with care. A special mention has to go to Wiki, who was absolutely lovely — friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel looked after, even during what can be a busy airport breakfast time. Little interactions like that really make a difference. Overall, a great spot to sit down, eat well, and unwind before a flight. We’d happily come back next time we’re travelling through Glasgow Airport.
