The swings still has my heart left there. The concept of seating is just next level. Obviously you get asked if you wanna go for chairs, but loved the vibes, the decor and the environment. Food was finger licking good. Our server daniel was super polite and freight and had a lovely chat with him about diabetes LOL. Nonetheless would go back to try more. Thanks for the hospitality each one of you.
We had a lovely meal at Mowgli Street Food in Glasgow and overall it was a great experience. The restaurant has a warm, vibrant atmosphere with a unique décor that creates a relaxed and welcoming ambience. The staff were genuinely friendly, attentive, and made us feel well looked after throughout our visit. The food was delicious, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. One small issue was that the rice served with one of our dishes was slightly undercooked. We mentioned it to the staff, who immediately apologised and, without any fuss, removed the item from our bill. It was handled professionally and showed that they genuinely care about customer satisfaction. Overall, the combination of great food, excellent customer service, and a fantastic atmosphere made for a very enjoyable dining experience. We'd happily return and would recommend Mowgli Street Food to anyone looking for tasty food and friendly service in Glasgow.
Really lovely meal, it was a fourth visit in a year. The yogurt chat bombs are incredible - well worth trying. Our waitress, Ellie, was very patient and helpful. It’s a great restaurant and they seem to employ people with excellent customer skills. My sister had the Lychee Rose cocktail and it was delicious.
Took my wife here for a part of her 40th birthday as she has been looking forward to trying this restaurant for a long long time. 1st we stood at the front desk for 5 plus minutes waiting to be seen to...then we got our table which was the swings and to be honest they were actually comfy for being wood haha. We then got served for our drinks which were great and very tasty and quick service. Food was then ordered and with this being sharing style food the tables are way to small for this and im sure alot of people have said the same. Food came out very quickly which was good...food tasted ok bit nothing special. We then asked for the bill and 20 minutes later until I had to go ask another member of staff for the bill and she was very apologetic.
Food was amazing, only dish I wasn't impressed with was the lamb that was in a big lump of bread and filled out with potato. Less bread, less potato, more lamb and you have a winner. Staff were busy and let themselves down on service. Brought drinks, left the empties, brought food, left the empty plates. A little bit more attention and the stars would rise. Made up with great food though. I'll definitely be back. Not sure I was a fan of the bar staff decanting wine from glasses back into the bottle though. Don't know why, didn't want to ask.
